Are u aware of this? Would you still stay on facebook after knowing this?
After I get through of the article, here's facebook is go against our privacy issue. As I know, all of these social website ( facebook ) that had a option to set your own privacy issue, ofcause if u don't set it as privacy so it's your own responsibility to take that risk. As for that CMU researcher, it's an apps just with facial recognition technology then it can access our information through facebook without login. It aware me to be alert tagged from other's and also increased alertness the privacy information of my profile.
Ofcause i will still stay on facebook, because it's the social website that let me communicate with friends, the only way we can prevent is just strengthen our behaviour on social website, for example don't simply click unknown link send by stranger, set your own profile by seen to own friends only.
We still need careful to use facebook. We also don't trust the fake information from the unknown page.
ReplyDeletehaiz, facebook is too advance or over advance? Hopefully it can be improve of the issue since it is one of the top rank communications tools which I used frequently nowadays.
ReplyDeleteand thanks to See Ben that remind me that not to trust the fake information from the unknown page, because my curious had caused me being clicked those fake wedsite and information before also..
Ya, what I concern is what will happened to Facebook users' personal information if most of the people know how to use the apps which used by CMU researcher? I agree with your example that "don't simply click unknown link send by stranger" as it is to prevent the virus too but I am wonder why still have many people click to the link? =P
